The Third Rail is a posh, new gastropub located in the beautiful Hilton Hotel in downtown Washington DC. Formerly the Grist Mill Inn, they decided in 2020 that they were looking for a complete rebranding as they remodeled and opened anew with a completely revamped menu and more modern, sophisticated vibe.

The team came to us to make sure their website kept up with the amazing changes taking place in the restaurant. They needed a fresh, new website to not only highlight the reinvigorated menu offerings, but to serve as a useful resource for in-house guests, nearby potential new customers, and potential new partners.

We designed a site that is crisp, clean and modern with easy, straight-forward navigation, clear calls to action, and easy-to-find menus with a beautiful gallery of their offerings. The new site makes it easy to book a reservation, find the location/contact/hours-of-operation information, order online and inquire about hosting events.
